Learn to manage your state of mind – how you are feeling is a direct communication from your brain to your body.
Meditate – getting into a quiet space where you can shut or quiet down your thoughts.
Smile – if you smile for a few minutes, it will trick your mind into thinking you are happy. After a while you will actually start to feel happy. So smile big!
Compliment or help someone- this one is my favourite, you get such a good feeling, when you see the joy on the faces of people, you compliment or offer assistance to. Love yourself! think of the person that you love the most, now mirror that love onto yourself. Please don’t think it’s narcissist, there’s a difference between thinking the world revolves around you, to showing yourself the same courtesy that you show others.
Being grateful – get into the daily habit of going through all the good things in your life and saying thank you. It could be mundane things like a comfortable bed, a nice cup of coffee, a compliment, etc.. I know you can find things to be grateful for, even when you think everything is going against you. It’s vitally important to pin point the good, especially when you think, things are going tits up.
Forgive and forget. This can be hard to master, but it is possible! I promise you that it will completely free and deliberate you. Someone may have hurt you once, but if you don’t forgive, then they will carry on hurting you for as many years, you decide to carry that grudge for. My advise? let that shit go.
